We provide a service for the public to carry out their legal duties to register all births, deaths and still births within the City of Westminster area. We also register civil marriages and civil partnerships in Westminster and provide a Nationality Checking Service and Citizenship ceremonies.

On 1st April 2010 we are introducing an appointment system for those attending the register office to register a birth or death or give notice of intention to marry/form a civil partnership. Please telephone 020 7641 1161 to make an appointment.
We are trialling opening the Old Marylebone Town Hall for Marriage and Civil Partnership ceremonies on the occasional Sunday. For more information and to check availability please call 020 7641 1162.
