School uniform grant scheme

We are pleased to announce that we are offering school uniform funding for the academic year 2025 and will be extended into 2026. The grant supports Westminster resident pupils attending a Westminster primary school. The fund is to provide financial support to families that are eligible for means tested Free School Meals.
The grant scheme provides £150 towards the cost of a secondary school uniform for pupil who will be starting Year 7 of secondary school and £31 for children due to start in Reception from September.
How to get the grant
The grant is paid directly to your child’s Westminster primary school each year in June. Please contact your child’s primary school directly nearer the time for further information on how the grant will be issued to you.
