Support for those over the age of 18

Navigating life experiences and challenges is easier with the right support. On this page, you will find a list of services that provide specialised assistance for men, women, individuals with dementia or memory loss, the LGBTQIA+ community, and Black, Asian, and minority ethnic groups. Explore resources to find the help you need. 

Services include: 

  • Support for men: Services for men, offering mental health counselling, support groups, career advice, and resources for physical wellbeing and personal development. 
  • Support for women: Assistance for women, including career development and peer support. 
  • Dementia and memory loss: The word 'dementia' covers a range of diseases or disorders affecting the brain. It comes in different forms, the most common being Alzheimer's disease and vascular dementia. Services for individuals and families experiencing dementia or memory loss, including caregiver support and guidance for daily living. 
  • LGBTQIA+ support: Services with experience working with LGBTQIA+ communities, providing mental health support, peer support groups, legal advocacy, and resources for navigating identity and relationships. 
  • Global majority support: Dedicated assistance for individuals.
