ASSIST (Autism Support Signposting Information Services Team)

About the service

ASSIST provides free support for adults on the autism spectrum. It is intended for residents aged 18 and over in Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster who have or who are actively seeking a diagnosis of Autism.

ASSIST offers one-to-one appointments as well as group meetings.

Appointments: one-to-one appointments provide an opportunity to discuss and find ways of managing various issues, including employment, education, housing, coping strategies, physical and mental wellbeing, domestic skills, and welfare.

Groups: there are weekly and monthly groups for people to develop their social networks and friendships. These groups include social activities, information seminars, museum trips, board games, gardening music, and more.

Community: They deliver autism awareness classes for professional organisations, which can help promote autism awareness.
