About the service

The Centre for ADHD and Autism Support's (CAAS) Adult Hub works with autistic adults only in Westminster (over 18 years of age, without a co-occurring learning disability) and the professionals who support them.

The service is designed to support executive function tasks, such as managing paperwork, completing applications for financial support/benefits, and maintaining correspondence with statutory services that enhance independence.

They can help with with:

  • individual support for Autistic Adults
  • support to fill in forms, maintain correspondence with statutory bodies, apply for benefits/welfare/support from Mental Health and Social Care Teams, assist in making phone calls to other organisations/GP/Local Authority, support with goal setting and signposting and connecting with other organisations - sessions are individually tailored around your needs and communication styles
  • post Autism Diagnosis Peer support/Social Group 'Understanding my Autism' - a place to learn what Autism is for you
  • PIP Workshop - Video guide for completing the PIP form and a live question and answer session with CAAS staff (aged 16 and over for PIP application/transition from DLA to PIP)
