About the service

Maternity Champions programme works with new and expectant parents with babies from 0 to 1-year olds across five hubs in Westminster. Maternity Champions are trained local people who volunteered to provide support by informing parents and signposts to local services.

The programme offers support through trained local volunteers who provide information and breastfeeding support, facilitate peer networks, and help improve wellbeing to reduce isolation. Maternity Champions also supports partner organisations in collecting feedback and broadening services for new and expectant parents.

How to access the service

You can contact the hubs directly by self-referring. Other professionals can refer you on your behalf.

Availability

Community hubs operate Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm with the occasional events happening at weekends and evenings.
