Community eating disorders service

About the service

Community Eating Disorders Service(link is external) for children and young people offers help and support to children and young people aged 17 and under living in Central and North London who have a suspected or confirmed eating disorder diagnosis. This includes children and young people seeking advice, consultation and support.

The team includes:

  • psychiatrists
  • psychologists
  • nurses
  • a dietician
  • a paediatrician
  • psychological therapists.

The service offers assessment, diagnosis and intervention on a range of suspected and confirmed eating disorders including:

  • Anorexia nervosa
  • Bulimia nervosa
  • Binge eating disorder
  • Atypical anorectic and bulimic eating disorder.

Availability

Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm (excluding bank holidays).
