About the service

London Friend is the UK’s oldest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and trans charity. It supports the health and mental wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ community in and around London.

London Friend provides counselling and support for individuals dealing with issues related to same-sex relationships and sexual and gender identity while also fostering personal growth and self-confidence. The organization is home to Antidote, the UK’s oldest LGBT-focused drug and alcohol service. Additionally, London Friend offers social groups that create a safe and welcoming space to meet and socialize, providing an alternative to the bar and club scene.
