About the service
The National Gambling Clinic is a free, confidential NHS service supporting people who are experiencing harm from gambling.
The National Gambling Clinic team assesses the needs of people for whom gambling has been a problem, as well as those of their partners, family members and significant others.
Please note: The service supports those suffering from gambling harm and cannot offer crisis interventions. The team can work jointly with mental health teams, aiming to provide a comprehensive care package in collaboration with other professionals.
In the event of a crisis, the clinic suggests you contact your GP, community mental health team, A&E, or the police.
How to access the service
The National Gambling Clinic accept referrals from anyone who is experiencing harm from gambling aged:
- 13 to 18 years old from anywhere in England
- 18 or over and live in London and the South East.
You can refer yourself by completing an online form.
The form will ask you to provide your contact details and some information about your current situation.
