Coming to your community

To make sure that we are hearing from as many of our residents as possible, we know that we need to bring our service to you.

If for any reason you struggle to leave the house, we can arrange a home visit. That could be with your housing officer, incomes officer or someone from leasehold services.

We know that there may be times when you are talking about housing in your communities, like a community centre, place of worship or school. We are always happy to come to these places, to answer questions, and we can also arrange to have housing staff who speak different languages.

Housing staff are also regularly door knocking across the city. Between June 2022 and August 2023, Housing staff knocked on 10,494 doors across Westminster and spoke to 3,702 households. We are particularly careful to make sure we are going out to see residents who have told us they are vulnerable.
