Complaints Task and Finish Group

We need 8 residents to review our complaints process. If you have recent experience, please apply.

We have an opportunity for 8 residents to help review the way we manage and learn from complaints. If you have recent experience of our complaints process, please consider applying to join this group.

Being part of this group will involve working collaboratively and intensively with housing staff to understand key challenges and develop solutions. Meetings will be weekly for 6 to 8 weeks and you will have the option to join in person or online. There will be information to read between meetings and there could be visits to attend. The total time commitment could be up to 4 or 5 hours per week.

Why should you take part?

You will have the opportunity to help improve the Housing Service, work collaboratively with officers, and gain understanding of how big organisations work. You will add valuable experience to your CV and gain new skills, including leadership, service design, scrutiny, reporting and measuring performance. We will also offer additional training opportunities.

Who should apply?

The opportunity is open to anyone living in Westminster Housing. We are keen for task and finish groups to reflect the diversity of Westminster’s residents. We are particularly keen to hear from residents who have been underrepresented in our engagement forums, including tenants who are under 30, from a global majority background, or those with disabilities. We can provide individual support tailored to your needs so don’t let anything hold you back from getting involved.

You may have experience of our complaints process and wish to improve it, but that is not essential for joining the group.

When will the group run?

We are aiming to have an introductory meeting in early December, with weekly meetings running January – February 2025.

If you are interested, please complete our sign-up form.

If you apply but do not get a space this time don’t worry, we have many other ways that you can get involved.
