Theatre in schools outreach tour

We have commissioned an outreach theatrical tour for up to 10 state secondary schools across Westminster. Following an open tender, Donmar Warehouse was selected to co-create touring productions with students that have been performed in school halls.

The tour has been accompanied by an in-depth learning programme that has related to the school curriculum to address the growing gap in creative teaching resources. Donmar have engaged over 2000 key stage 3 students every year, with a focus on those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to visit the theatre. Shakespeare’s Macbeth was performed in 2024 and a brand new play will be developed for 2025.
