Whitehall and Parliament Square
- Applications including a road closure of Whitehall and/or Parliament Square will not be accepted between the months of May and August 2025 inclusive.
Whitehall Court, Whitehall Place
- Applications including a road closure of Whitehall Court and/or Whitehall Place will not be accepted between the months of May and August 2025 inclusive.
- Applications for traffic control on Whitehall Court and/or Whitehall Place where filming is also taking place within a premises on one of these streets will continue to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the impact of the proposal, a road closure may be considered for a part-day in these cases.
- Parking on Whitehall Court is unable to be suspended outside of a closure.
- Generators are not supported on Whitehall Place between Scotland Place and Whitehall Court.
- In general, applications including a road closure of Whitehall Court and/or Whitehall Place, will be limited and assessed on a case-by-case basis. This is due to the number of road closures these streets have related to annual events.
Lancaster Gate, Craven Terrace Area
- Road closure applications in this area are not currently being accepted. Requests for traffic holds may be facilitated on a case-by-case basis with enough lead in time for local engagement to be carried out.
- Resident and shared-use parking suspensions will generally not be supported. Consideration will be given to a handful of bays to support filming days only but on agreement with your assigned officer and with reallocations being required.
- A number of pay by phone bays must be maintained in the street for resident and general use.
Little Venice
Parking suspensions for filming are extremely limited in Little Venice due to the high use of bays by local residents.
Parking around the Warrington Hotel, Warrington Crescent and Sutherland Avenue area, and City of Westminster College, Paddington Green, including for filming at the premises, are extremely limited. This is due to the high use of parking bays in this area by local residents.
Mount Street Gardens and adjacent South Audley Street
- We are not accepting any filming applications for Mount Street Gardens.
- We are also not accepting filming on the two small sections of South Audley Street to the North and South of Grosvenor Chapel. The main length of South Audley Street may still be used for filming.
