Recently Cllr David Harvey, Cabinet Member for Housing Services, was able to undertake his first socially-distanced visit to one of our housing estates. He visited John Aird Court in Little Venice ward accompanied by local members Cllrs Green, Caplan and Deane. While there, Cllr Harvey was able to hear from residents about issues on the estate such as broadband, parking and anti-social behaviour.
“It was wonderful to get out and meet with residents after not being able to due to lockdown and hear from residents about their experiences with housing services including what is working well and where there is room for improvement.”
Coronavirus has made it difficult to get out on estates as much as Cllr Harvey would like, but it’s important to him to get back out and hear from you as often as possible. He will be visiting more blocks and estates later in the year, as long as it continues to be safe to do so. The next planned visit is to Brunel Estate in late September and we will keep residents updated once dates are confirmed.
