Statement on the situation in Lebanon
The UK Government's Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) continues to advise against all travel to Lebanon and is encouraging British nationals in Lebanon to leave, while commercial options remain available.
If you are a British national in Lebanon, Register Your Presence to tell the UK government that you are there. If you previously registered your details with them (before 12 September), you will need to register again. A separate form for each member of your family or group who is a British national should be completed.
Read FCDO advice on what to do if you’re affected by a crisis abroad and how to prepare and for all the latest Government advice read here.
Alongside the UK Government, Greater London Authority and other local councils, Westminster City Council continues to monitor the situation across the region for any potential local impact in order to offer assistance, where appropriate. We are aware of the impact on our communities and stand ready to support.
