Trade parking permits: conditions of use
- The permit is only valid for use during the times and on the days purchased.
- The vehicle may only be parked in paid-for parking bay or shared use bay between the hours of 8:30am and 6:30pm, within the zone for which the permit applies.
- The Vehicle may only be parked in a residents bay between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm within the zone for which the permit applies. After this time the vehicle must be moved into a paid-for parking or shared use bay.
- The vehicle must not be parked within the boundaries of the Royal Parks, nor in such a manner as to cause an obstruction.
- The vehicle must be relocated if requested to do so by a Police Officer, Traffic Warden, City of Westminster Marshal or Duty Officer.
- The permit is not transferable and no refunds will be given for periods of unused time.
- The City Council reserves the right to inspect the vehicle named overleaf by an Authorised Officer or Authorised Agent of the City Council, at all reasonable times for the purposes of verifying the works and/or authenticity of the permit application.
- A Penalty Charge Notice may be issued if it is not apparent to the Marshal that the vehicle/permit is being used by a tradesperson carrying out works or services to premises, or if the permit is being used in any location other than a resident, shared-use or paid-for parking bay in the zone for which the permit applies.
- The permit remains the property of the City Council and must be surrendered to the City Council and/or the authorised agents of the City Council in accordance with the Order(s) associated with the issue of this permit.
