Minor works scheme

The Minor Works programme in the PPM programme for footways and carriageways is to allow early intervention to areas of defective carriageway and footway which are in poor condition but over a relatively small area and would therefore not normally qualify for the main PPM programme. Targeting early intervention of some defects should result in a reduction of the number of reactive jobs that are currently being found on the network and produce an overall improvement in network condition.
