Support with clothing

Find out about the Community Wardrobe for those impacted by the Cost of Living crisis

Community Wardrobe Regent Hall

Regent Hall's new Community Wardrobe project is open.

Community Wardrobe has been created for those impacted by the Cost of Living crisis and in need of clothing. It relies on donations and is staffed by volunteers from their Church and local community. Community Wardrobe offers good-quality pre-loved clothing, supporting families and individuals with women's, men's, and children's clothing, including a wide range of school uniforms and work/smart wear.

Information about the Community Wardrobe

The Community Wardrobe is not open to the public. It operates on an appointment-only basis so that you have time and privacy to come and look and try on clothes. Please provide your priority needs and sizes; they will do their best to accommodate you.

Appointments will initially be scheduled on Thursday afternoons between 2pm and 5pm.

The duration of appointments will vary based on the number of family members: individuals will receive a 20-minute slot, while families will be allotted additional time. Alternative options will be offered wherever possible, though availability cannot be guaranteed.

Most items are pre-loved, some are new, and all are clean and in good condition.

Once they receive your referral form, they will contact you to arrange an appointment for you to come and visit. Please let them know how you would like them to contact you and sign the 'consent to share' section of the referral form if an organisation has referred you.

There is a  £5 cash donation per family, £3 per individual, for up to five items per person. The Community Wardrobe will then use this to buy new popular items to have in stock.

Please bring the donation with you when you arrive and a bag to carry your items home.
