How to apply for a licence

Please note that following the commencement of the Levelling Up and Regeneration Act 2023, we are no longer able to accept applications for Tables and Chairs under the City of Westminster Act 1999.

If you wish to place table and chairs and other furniture on the highway you will need to apply for a pavement licence under the Business and Planning Act 2020.
