Inside Out grant programme

Who can apply?

We welcome applications from cultural organisations or those delivering cultural activities for residents of or visitors to the City of Westminster. This includes venues, Business Improvement Districts, agencies, artists, curators and performers.

Please note, preference will be given to organisations based in the City of Westminster.

Timelines and application process

Applications for the Inside Out grant programme have now closed.

Decision making

Once the application window closes all applications will be assessed by a diverse panel of officers and ward councillors from across the council, appointed for their representative knowledge of residential areas and communities across the borough.

We will notify both successful and unsuccessful applicants by mid-January 2024 at the very latest. Please note we are not able to provide feedback on unsuccessful applications.

Grant payment process

We will need to ensure all successful applicants complete the process of setting themselves up as a supplier on our IBC system. Once approved we would issue a purchase order with a number for you to quote when you send us an invoice. You will need to follow instructions on the purchase order carefully as our Finance services are outsourced and part-automated.

Funds should be received within 30 days after signing and returning the grant agreement letter. Invoicing will be for 100% in a single payment.

By signing the grant agreement you are committing to provide all the requested evaluation information in a Project Monitoring Form, following successful completion of the project.
