Procurement Pipeline

Transparency in public procurement is a key focus of the Procurement Act 2023 and Westminster. This will allow suppliers to exercise greater scrutiny over how their money is being dispensed and better engage with them. Suppliers can access the Pipeline Notice or Westminster Procurement Pipeline. 

Pipeline Notice

The Procurement Act 2023 requires contracting authorities to publish pipeline notices for planned procurements exceeding £2 million every year. The notice will broadly include: 

• Project scope: a summary of the goods, works, or services to be procured
• Estimated value: the expected financial range of the procurement
• Anticipated procurement timeline: Key dates for market engagement, tender publication, and contract award
• Additional information: Any preliminary engagement activities or special requirements. 

The Pipeline notices will be accessible via the government's Central Digital Platform.

Westminster Procurement Pipeline

In Westminster, we will be publishing all known planned procurements over the next 18 months valued above £100,000. The Westminster Procurement Pipeline will be accessible here by the end of May 2025. All the opportunities listed will also be available on our eSourcing solution: Jaggaer.
