Summary table of Westminster Risk Register

It is critical for visitors, residents, communities, businesses, places of worship, and voluntary and community sector organisations to become familiar with risks that may impact our community.

The table below is a risk matrix which provides a summary of the Westminster Risk Register. It is important to note that the Risk Register is regularly updated along with the summary table risk matrix.

The summary table will provide you with a Risk ID, a unique reference number for each risk.

The ID is made up of a letter, R, HL, L or T and a number.

  • R denotes a risk is also a national risk
  • HL and L refer to local risks and local hazards
  • T refers to threats

The number is the Risk Rating, the overall risk rating based on likelihood and overall impact.

The colour scheme on the matrix matches the four categories pertaining to the Overall Risk Rating which allows for a quick preview of where each risk sits:

  • very high risk, red
  • high risk, orange
  • medium risk, yellow
  • low risk, green
