2025/26 relief application

If you believe that your business should qualify for this relief in 2025/26 and it does not show on your 2025/26 bill, please complete and return the application form below. If you qualify, a revised bill will be sent to you once your application has been processed and the relief applied to your business rate account.

2024/25 relief application

If you believe that your business should qualify for the new relief in 2024/25 and it does not show on your 2024/25 bill, please complete and return the application form below. If you qualify, a revised bill will be sent to you once your application has been processed and the relief applied to your business rate account.

Please send your completed application form by email to westminster.nndr@secure.capita.co.uk(link sends email), quoting 2024/25 RHLR and your rate reference number in the e-mail subject header or by post to Westminster City Council, Business Rates, P.O. Box 187, Erith, DA8 9EY.

2023/24 relief application

The Non-Domestic Rating Act 2023 has enabled Local Authorities to back-date discretionary rate relief under Section 47 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 without restriction from 1 April 2024 (in relation to 2023/24 onwards). The council will retain the ability for the local scheme to backdate as far as legislation allows. Please use the form provided to apply for this relief.

Central government has announced a 75% discount will apply in 2024/25 for businesses in the retail, hospitality, and leisure sectors. The relief is limited by a cash cap, subsidy control limit and eligible business use. These terms are all explained within the application form below.
