Make sure that you only park where permitted, and where required have your valid permits on display for our parking marshals to see.
If you have regular visitors to your home, such as carers, they must ensure that their permits are on display and use the correct bays.
Visitor parking scratch cards can be ordered by telephone and posted to your home address within seven working days. We are working with the parking team to make more efficient and alternative arrangements to obtain permits and keep you updated.
Traffic Management Orders
We have consulted residents on the changes to parking on our estates by writing to both tenants and leaseholders on the proposals. You can view the Q&A and download the timetable from the related documents on the side of this page.
Enforcement has commenced on many of the estates in the borough, with Westminster City Council marshals issuing parking charge notices on vehicles not correctly displaying a valid permit for the estate. We will be writing to the remaining estates where enforcement has not started regarding when this will commence. If you reside on the Wharncliffe Gardens estate or Hallfield Estate, we will be contacting you separately about the Traffic Management Orders.
Parking permits, garages and sheds are available to rent across many of WCC owned estates. Please note that these can be popular and you may be placed on a waiting list.
To be eligible for a parking permit or garage, the vehicle you wish to park must be taxed, insured and have a valid MOT. Garages cannot be used for any other reason than parking a vehicle.
Sheds are available to rent at a fixed weekly charge of £1.47 or free if the shed is for a mobility aid that can’t be folded such as a fixed frame wheelchair.

Parking for visitors
There are a limited number of parking spaces available for residents’ visitors and contractors. Daily permits must be displayed and parking is only permitted in marked bays. The number of permits you can purchase is also limited. For details, please contact your local area office.

April 2020/2021 parking permit increase
Each year, the price of parking on a WCC estate is reviewed and this will be increasing from Monday 6 April 2020. We are increasing rental fees for parking permits by the RPI (Retail Price Index) of September 2019, which was 2.4%.
Find details of the new parking permit charges for all areas.
Please note that the new charges will not apply if you provide one week’s written notice of your intention to vacate the space before 6 April 2020.
Residents that park on the Wharncliffe Gardens Estate and Hallfield Estate will also receive a 2.4% increase on their current rate. This is due to ongoing consultation of the Traffic Management Orders for the respective estates. Please contact us on 0800 358 3783 or [email protected] and ask to speak to our income team for more information if you park on this estate.
