Slips, trips and falls
Christmas is a time for celebration, fun and Christmas parties. However, this can often mean large crowds, excessive alcohol and, unfortunately, minor and serious accidents.
Everyone wants to go home safely, whether attending or working at a Christmas event. With some forethought and planning there is no reason this cannot be achieved.
The first step is to assess the hazards and risk level. Then consider the control measures that need to be put in place to reduce the risk level.
Particular attention should be given to the risk of slips, trips, and falls. At this time of year, we see a noticeable increase in these accidents, particularly on staircases.
