What happens next
We will issue a street trading exhibition licence and an ID plate to the successful applicants, which they must display at all times while trading.
The street trading licence will remain in force until cancelled or revoked. You will be expected to comply with the licence conditions.
It is important to remember that:
- traders must personally attend the pitch to exhibit their own work
- if you are unable to trade due to ill health, charges may be waived if formally requested in writing (email is acceptable) and supported by an original medical certificate which must be submitted as soon as possible after the period of illness
- if you would like someone else to exhibit your work during your annual holiday, you should let us know in advance. The person's full name and address should be given in writing and they will need to show proof of identity as well as your street trading licence or ID plate. You, as the licence holder, will be responsible for the conduct of this person while they work the pitch
- charges are payable even if you are unable to attend the exhibition on any given trading day
- a licence can be cancelled at any time
