Have your say – the future of employment and skills in London
City Hall wants to hear from your communities about the future of employment and skills in London.
We're inviting all organisations who work directly with Londoners to host a ‘Community Conversation’ to gather Londoners’ views. We are offering Consultation Access Grants of up to £500 for organisations that need support to do this; the deadline to apply for a grant has been extended to Sunday 18 July 2021. Your organisation can also submit its own response to the consultation through a different link for organisations. The deadline to host a Community Conversation or respond to the consultation is Sunday 8 August 2021.
The consultation feedback will help shape future employment and skills priorities, especially the draft Adult Education Roadmap for London, which sets out a long-term vision for adult learning in the capital. Adult learning includes all types of classes, courses, training opportunities and qualifications for those aged 19 and over, and is important to help Londoners get the skills they need for jobs and to live happier, healthier lives.

Community Fibre Digital Ambassadors in Westminster
We have joined forces with Community Fibre, and Tempo Time Credits to offer Westminster residents the chance to take a lead in their communities by volunteering to become a Community Fibre Digital Ambassador.
We have several Ambassadors recruited, trained, and ready to deliver sessions in our communities - we are currently looking for residents to register their interest in taking part in digital skills sessions to improve their digital literacy.
There are opportunities for digital skills sessions to take place over the telephone, online, or in-person in our libraries and community spaces, depending on your preferences and capabilities so please don't hesitate to get in touch. Sessions vary from the most basic skills to advanced skills and are completely based on personal capabilities and targets.
Safeguarding is important to us and Ambassadors are fully DBS-checked and trained in security and privacy.
