When will you hear back from us
Once the application window closes all applications will be assessed by a panel of officers from across the council against the funding criteria. They have been selected to best represent the aims of the programme and knowledge of the area.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome by email within 4 weeks of the closing date. It is recommended that you check your junk email or contact us at [email protected] if you have not heard from us after this date.
Please note we are not able to provide feedback on unsuccessful applications and the decision made will be final.
Grant payment process
We will need to ensure all successful applicants complete the process of setting themselves up as a supplier on our finance system, IBC. Once approved we will issue a purchase order with a number for you to quote when you send us an invoice. You will need to follow instructions on the purchase order carefully as our finance services are outsourced and their systems are part-automated.
Funds should be received within 30 days after signing and returning the grant agreement letter. Invoicing will be for 75% of the funds you requested upfront, followed by the remaining upon proof of spend. If the project does not take place, then no funding will be provided.
By signing the grant agreement, you are committing to provide all the requested evaluation information in a Project Monitoring Form, four weeks following successful completion of the project.
Successful applicants will be required to submit additional supporting documents including copies of insurance, polices and quotes where applicable.
Subsidy control rules
All applicants will be required to declare in the application form that the activity complies with subsidy control government legislation. Funding cannot contribute towards ‘economic activity’ or towards an ‘enterprise’. Find more advice from the Department of Business and Trade on the UK subsidy control regime.
