Local Enforcement Plan
The Local Enforcement Plan (LEP) explains our approach to planning enforcement for everyone who interacts with the service - whether they are people carrying out development or affected by it.
The LEP is a guide to the processes and methods of enforcement used in Westminster. The plan sets out our key priorities and how different types of planning breaches are prioritised and considered. It explains what issues the Planning Enforcement Team are able to investigate and what we cannot, as well as what information is required by the Team when an enforcement concern is raised.
Additionally, the plan includes a list of useful planning enforcement terms, links to useful websites, and also includes a helpful flowchart explaining how a typical planning enforcement investigation may proceed.
