Householder application
You may need to apply for permission if you are proposing to alter or enlarge a single house, including works within the boundary or garden of a house.
For example:
- extensions or conservatories
- loft conversions or dormer windows
- garages, carports or outbuildings
- basement excavations or swimming pools
- walls or fences
- vehicular access including footway crossovers
- satellite dishes
This excludes application for works to flats. For flats, see full planning permission.
