The Beethoven Centre in Queen's Park, Westminster, offers a wide-ranging programme of regular and free or affordable activities and events for the community.
Emmanuel Church
Every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm, Emmanual Church will be offering games, craft activities as well as hot soup and cakes.
Grand Junction
Grand Junction is a community, arts, and culture venue located at St Mary Magdalene Church in Paddington.They have a programme of music, art and performance for young people, families and adults. There is also a cafe that serves food and drinks, overlooking the canal.
Maida Vale Library
Maida Vale Library is open Monday to Saturday and hosts events for adults and children. There are computers for use as well as study areas.
North Paddington Food Bank: Everybody Eats
The ‘Everybody Eats’ project is focused on delivering a weekly community meal for up to 50 older residents during the winter months at the Avenues Youth Project in Queens Park. The meals are offered in a welcoming community environment.
Programme of activities:
- 10am to 2pm: Everybody Eats, cook and eat, kitchen open from 12:30pm
- 12pm to 2pm: social groups and speakers
- 1:30pm to 3pm: social table tennis
Queen's Park Family Hub
Queen's Park Family Hub provides a range of activities for children under 5 and their parents or carers including drop-in play, baby classes and workshops.
Queen's Park Library
Queen's Park Library is open Monday to Saturday and hosts events, with computers for use as well as study areas.
Stowe Centre
The Stowe Centre offers Citizens Advice services and the employment support programme, NPOP. North Paddington Opportunities Project (NPOP) is designed to support the local communities of Westbourne, Harrow Road and Queen’s Park in sustaining economic independence. From having a personal adviser to help understand benefits, to developing skills or exploring options for the future.
Westbourne Park Baptist Church
The Warm Welcome Cafe at Westbourne Park Baptist Church will be offering food, a community pantry as well as activities like games and crafts. Taking place every Thursday, 11am to 4pm, from November 2 to March 28, excluding December 28.
