Hallfield Estate Major Works: Brecon, Bridgewater, Caernarvon, Clovelly and Exeter Houses (project X116)

Major works are planned to the five remaining blocks on the Grade II listed Hallfield Estate – Brecon, Bridgewater, Caernarvon, Clovelly and Exeter Houses.

This project will be the fourth phase of major works on the estate with earlier phases completed in 2019 to Pembroke, Reading and Tenby, in 2021 to Marlow, Newbury and Taunton blocks and then to Lynton, Winchester and Worcester due to complete in Autumn 2025 which will allow this project to start on site in Winter 2025/26.

This fourth phase of works will cover a similar scope of works as the earlier phases and includes: 

• New double-glazed windows
• External repairs and decorations
• Communal repairs and decorations
• Roof renewal and repair works
• Photovoltaic solar panel system
• Ventilation system renewal and repair
• Fire safety works
• Lateral mains upgrades
