Parent or legal guardians sponsoring children under Homes for Ukraine Scheme
If you are a parent or legal guardian who holds permission under any of the Ukraine Schemes, you can apply to sponsor your child under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme.
Children sponsored by their parents (or legal guardians) will hold permission to live in the UK for up to 18 months.
The parent or legal guardian:
- Do not need to have settled status to sponsor their child, but they must hold permission under any of the Ukraine Schemes
- must be able to provide accommodation for the duration of their child’s visa
- must be able to provide evidence of their relationship with the child (birth/adoption/legal guardianship documents)
Please note that a parent or legal guardian who is sponsoring their child will not qualify for thank you payments.
