AF250 Lisson Green Emergency Cadent HIU & Cooker works

The justification for the works is highlighted in the condition reports provide by Cadent . The gas infrastructure was generally in poor condition and advised by Cadent to be isolated in the near future. This project forms the first phase of a wider programme to terminate the gas supply in all LPS buildings with heavily corroded pipework.

The carbon footprint of the building will be significantly reduced, with the replacement of individual boilers with Heat Interface units (HIU’s) and a mini district system.

In summary, the condition survey inspections confirmed numerous failures and defects to the existing communal gas pipework.  

GEM is named as the recommended service provider to carry out the works for this project under the Major Works Term Partnering Contract.
