My membership options
There are two membership options for LGPS members. The main scheme and the 50/50 scheme.
The main scheme is the full pension scheme where you accrue 1/49th of your pensionable pay and pay for scheme membership via a percentage of your salary.
The 50/50 scheme is where you accrue 1/98th of your salary (50% of the main scheme accrual) and pay a smaller percentage of your salary for scheme membership.
