Scottish Towers Major Works (project AB108)

Work to the Lanark Road street properties is underway. There has been a variation in the scope of the work to these properties. We will include roof renewal work and fit extra insulation. We are doing this work because the existing roofs were approaching the end of their lifespan. 

Our Commissioning Team is continuing to undertake a thorough review of the proposal of works and costings. This often takes place to ensure that they meet the requirements of the Client Brief and represent value for money for residents and the Council alike. Note this work is very detailed and takes a considerable amount of time. 

When our checks, and any associated queries have been completed we will have a more clearly defined scope of works. At this point we will contact you again to share this information with you and get your feedback.  

On the 25 July 2024, a letter was sent to all residents at Scottish Towers thanking them for their patience, while we continue to work on the plans to deliver the major works.

We will continue to send updates every 3 months and the next update is due in October 2024.
