Information related to Visa and BRP
Digital Visa and Ukraine Permission Extension Scheme
As of 31 December 2024, physical BRP cards have been discontinued and replaced by digital, online visas.
The most current information on e-visas and how to access yours can be found on GOV.UK.
If you have arrived in the UK under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme or other Ukraine schemes and your visa is about to expire, you are eligible to apply for the Ukraine Permission Extension scheme within 28 days of your current visa expiry date.
For the latest updates and details on the Ukraine Permission Extension Scheme, visit GOV.UK.
Please note that the e-Visa and Ukraine Permission Extension Scheme application processes are separate and must be followed individually.
If you have issues accessing your eVisa or queries related to your Visa, BRP, or other related matters contact UK Visas and Immigration for support.
If you require support with understanding these processes, then please contact the Ukraine Response Team for support.
Changes to the Ukrainian Visa Scheme
Anyone seeking refuge in the UK from Ukraine must apply through the Homes for Ukraine Scheme (effective from 19 February 2024).
Please note that you cannot switch from the Ukraine Family Scheme to the Homes for Ukraine Scheme after arriving in the UK.
If you are already in the UK under a Family Visa Scheme, you can continue to access services just like other UK residents. You can access all statutory and non-statutory services as usual. There are charitable organisations where you can seek support in a safe and friendly environment including those found on our useful contacts page.
