New Major Works payment options
We are introducing new payment options for resident leaseholders receiving major works bills, in response to the rising cost of living and increased building costs that have put many residents in a challenging financial situation.
We have listened to your feedback and introduced two new payment options for those receiving invoices over £30,000 (see below).:
- 8 years interest free in monthly payments
- 13 years in monthly payments with 8 years interest free
We have also removed the requirement for leaseholders to show they cannot secure alternative lending for our loans. We hope this will go some way towards easing the financial pressure our leaseholders are experiencing.
This is part of Westminster Council’s plans to limit the financial burden on leaseholders and tackle the cost of living crisis in Westminster.
